The account of a marital relationship of two elderly people. The film's protagonist, Jan, is considered a hypochondriac by his wife and the rest of his family. At first it seems that ordinary situations are observed by a camera. With a time being one can realize that Jan suffers from a serious depression, and even talks about a suicide. However, medicine comes out of nowhere leading to a miraculous recovery. John comes back to life.

Pawel Hejbudzki

Borun in 1980 in Torun. Amateur filmmaker. Student at the Environment Preservation Faculty at the University of Olsztyn. He started his film career as editor in "Petrus" cable TV. In 2004 took part in the documentary film workshops in Kazimierz Dolny conducted by leading Polish filmmakers, where he directed his first short film. In 2005 established "Aron" independent film group. A State of Mind is his directing debut. The film received several awards at regional film festivals in Poland.
