Jurek lives in tel Aviv, Stella - in Boston. They met in 1936 in Otwock and fell in love from the first sight. They were divided by the war - Jurek went to Auschwitz, Stella was sent to work in Germany. The last letter from Stella came in 1945. After the war he had spent a long time looking for her until he found out that she got married. Then he met Nora. They lived together for 57 years. Now, after all those years, he suggested to Stella they should meet again in Otwock...

Malgorzata Imielska

A graduate of film studies at the Jagiellonian University and the School of Radio & TV at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Recipient of numerous festival awards, inlcuding Milan, Lodz and Warsaw. Her most important films are: Love in the Time of Extermination (Milosc w czasach zaglady, 2001), Tell Me Yoy Story (Opowiedz mi swoja historie, 2004), Childhood in the Shadow of Death (Dziecinstwo w cieniu smierci, 2004). Tell Me Why received the Audience Award and the President of Polish Filmmakers Association Award at Cracow FF.
