A small bed and breakfast at the Mazurian Lakes is not a busy place in January. The owner aggress to rent a room to a young woman who comes there every year. She is considered more like a family member than a guest. An elderly gentleman, also the owner's friend visits the place as well. Something like a romantic relationship and friendship starts between the "off season" tourists…

Born in 1931 in Lvov. Film director. A graduate of the Cracow Polytechnic Institute (Architecture, 1955) and the Lodz National Film School (Film Directing, 1961).
