Unemployed anti-Semite living in Lodz learns that his parents were Jewish. A fortune inherited from a distant relative waits for him in the United States. To get the money, however, he has to return to his roots. His world slowly turns upside-down.

IZABELA CYWINSKA
Born in 1935 in Kamien Pulawski. Graduated in Etnography at the Warsaw University and Theatre Directing at the State Drama Academy in Warsaw (1966). She worked in theatres in Warsaw, Bialystok and Nowa Huta. Since 1969 general manager of the Kalisz Theatre, since 1973 - general manager of Nowy Theatre in Poznan. The Minister of Culture in the government of Tadeusz Mazowiecki (1989-1991). Since 2008, Director of Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw.
