Polish officers arrested by the Red Army in the beginning of the war died not only in Katyn. Several thousand of them, whose burial place has never been found, might have been buried in Bykovnia near Kiev where the Soviets executed their own "inconvenient" soldiers, too. Archaeological work is going on there. Two Poles who became orphans during World War II are looking for the traces of their fathers.
